multimodal AI

Our Data Scientist, Joan Perramon, and Our Collaboration with the BCN-AIM research group of the University of Barcelona Showcase Groundbreaking Results.

AI-remote patient monitoring is a reallity that is helping millions of people worldwide. Discover the work we are doing on the filed based on evidence based and clinical research.

At vitalera, we are continuously advancing the capabilities of artificial intelligence (AI) to solve real-world challenges, and we're proud to share that our recent developments were showcased at The 20th International Symposium on Medical Information Processing and Analysis (SIPAIM), held from November 13th to 15th in Guatemala. This prestigious event brought together leading experts and innovators in the field, providing an ideal platform to present the latest research and breakthroughs from our team.

Joan, Data Scientist at vitalera presenting our research and development on AI

Our very own Data Scientist and PhD student, Joan Perramon, played a pivotal role in presenting the results of his publication “Enhancing Heart Failure Management: Integrating AI with Telemonitoring Systems for Advanced Alarm-Based Solutions”. This exciting presentation highlighted the cutting-edge AI solutions we are developing, which are set to make a significant impact on vitalera’s remote monitoring platform. Previous results showed how our Machine Learning (ML) tools are preventing readmissions.

In collaboration with the BCN-AIM research group of the University of Barcelona, vitalera is at the forefront of advancing AI technology, working closely with academic experts to bring innovative ideas to life. This partnership has enabled us to achieve breakthrough results in the implementation of a smart alarm system based on Machine Learning (ML) technology, and we are excited to continue pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in AI.

The presentation at SIPAIM marks an important milestone in our journey, and we are thrilled to share these advancements with the global AI community. Our team remains committed to driving innovation and creating AI-powered solutions that can transform industries and improve lives.

How vitalera Improves Point-of-Care: A Case with AstraZeneca’s #DiagnosticFC

The point of care (POC) is no longer confined to hospitals and clinics. Digital technologies—especially remote patient monitoring (RPM)—are transforming care delivery, enabling medical interventions to happen wherever the patient is: at home, at the gym, or within community hubs. This decentralized model addresses the pressing global healthcare challenges of aging populations, chronic diseases, and provider shortages.
